What's New for the 2023 Honda Odyssey?
The Honda Odyssey has been a preferred minivan for almost three decades thanks to its excellent combination of safety, comfort, and convenience features. The 2023 Honda Odyssey is part of the model's fifth generation, which started in 2018. This mid-generation version brings a few updates to the trim levels. The base Odyssey LX from 2022 is no longer available. In addition, the Sport trim is added to the middle of the lineup. The new trim options 2023 are now the EX, EX-L, Sport, Touring, and Elite. These trims have the same performance capabilities with a V6, 3.5-liter, 280-horsepower engine. They also all have front-wheel drive and a 10-speed auto transmission.
The new Sport trim level adds aesthetic improvements, such as black leather seats with red contrast stitching. The exterior of the Sport also includes 19-inch wheels, black window trim, and a black grille. Other aspects of the 2023 Odyssey's exterior are unchanged. This minivan boasts sliding side doors that are deeply contoured, and creased accent lines support the contouring. The nose is steeply angled with inverted definition lines. The hexagonal grille and the double-elemental LED headlights are linked. Some of the exterior features available across the 2023 Odyssey's trims are heated side mirrors, a moonroof, a power liftgate, a sound-reducing windshield, and others.
Inside the cabin, all trims have customizable seating for seven to eight passengers. Some of the features that are standard or available in the 2023 Odyssey include a rear seat reminder, a tri-zone auto climate control system, an intercom system, heated seats, forward collision mitigation, lane departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, an 8-inch touch display screen, a blind-spot monitor, driver's memory functions, a rear cabin monitor, a rear entertainment center, leather upholstery, sunshades for the side windows and other desired features.
