The 2020 Honda Accord Hybrid and 2020 Honda Accord are exceptional vehicles. Neither vehicle gets substantial changes for the latest model year. The Accord hybrid has some adjustments to pricing this time around, but it otherwise carries over without mechanical or aesthetic changes. The Accord sedan does not have many differences from the 2019 model year. Naturally, the main difference between the 2020 hybrid and regular versions of the Accord comes down to the powertrain. The hybrid's base engine is a 2.0L with four cylinders, while the regular Accord has a standard 1.5L turbocharged engine with four cylinders. Each vehicle has multiple trim levels, many standard features, and plenty of available amenities for a custom finish, too.
The 2020 Hybrid Accord features a two-engine powertrain. It has one engine across the trim lineup, which is a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that produces up to 212 HP and 232 LB-FT of torque. An electronically-controlled automatic transmission ensures smooth shifting and optimal performance. The hybrid features front-wheel drive across the lineup, and its transmission is a continuously variable (CVT) automatic. The 2020 Honda Accord has two engines. The base is a 1.5L turbo that supplies 192 HP and 192 LB-FT of torque. This engine features Eco Assistā¢ to conserve fuel when you're driving down the highway or stopped at a light. The higher-end engine is a turbocharged 2.0L that increases the Accord's power capabilities to 252 HP and 273 LB-FT of torque at an RPM range between 1,5000 and 4,000. Like the hybrid, the Accord comes standard with front-wheel drive. Your two available powertrains are a six-speed manual and a 10-speed automatic.
From the outside, the hybrid and regular Accord look very similar. A creased hood, sculpted front end, and dynamic contours give the Accord a look that's worthy of city streets. Other signature elements, including bold, narrow LED lights, fog lights, and body-colored side mirrors with integrated turn signals, add to the Accord's prestigious appearance while simultaneously making it safer. A full front grille is another highlight of the 2020 Accord and Accord hybrid. Accessories such as LED taillights, a decklid spoiler, and rear trim accents truly make the Accord stand out.
Ergonomic design is a highlight of the hybrid's interior. An available eight-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay keeps the driver and occupants entertained, with impressive legroom and headroom are highlights of the 2020 Accord. Leather seats are standard on the higher trim levels. Many features are available, including a navigation system and WiFi charging capability. As you would expect from a Honda, safety comes first in both Accord models, which are equipped with a premium Honda SensingĀ® suite of safety features, collision mitigation braking, and road departure mitigation.
The 2020 Honda Accord and Accord Hybrid are both beautiful cars. They are much the same with some variations in the powertrain. Contact Honda of Murfreesboro to learn more and test out both Accord models today.
