The entire crossover lineup at Honda of Murfreesboro holds exciting possibilities for our customers to get familiar with. For 2021, the lineup starts with the HR-V. This is a subcompact model that has four trims along with many options and special packages. A great place to begin your HR-V research is with a deep look at the LX and EX options. These trims respectively take the first and third positions in the 2021 line, and further review may reveal that one is the perfect option for your next purchase.
While the HR-V‘s 2021 trims all have the same powertrain, there are a few modest differences in the mechanical features at different levels. The I-4, gas-powered, 141-horsepower engine is tied to a continuously variable transmission across the board. At the EX trim, this transmission’s capabilities are boosted by a sport driving mode. Shared mechanical features for all 2021 HR-V trims are hill start assist, eco assist, auto brake hold, power steering, anti-locking brakes, and several others.
From a design perspective, the LV and EX have identical elements. However, several additional exterior features are standard for the HR-V EX. The design shows off deep side contours with twisting personality lines, upward details across the front and rear, a liftgate spoiler, and body molding. Throughout the EX’s exterior, the HR-V also has rear privacy glass, fog lamps, heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals, an exhaust finisher, and mounted rails on the roof.
As is valid with all other Honda crossovers, the HR-V has exciting features that affect your safety, convenience, and comfort on the road. The entry-level gear includes Bluetooth tech, manual adjustments for the front seats, cloth upholstery, a 2nd-Row Magic Seat®, a USB port, cruise control, illuminated functions on the steering wheel, power windows, a sound system, and air conditioning. If you prefer to drive the 2021 HR-V EX, your crossover has a few extra standard features. Some of these items are Android Auto, Honda Sensing® safety features, a push-button ignition, a higher-level sound system, Apple CarPlay, and heated seats.
The Honda of Murfreesboro team will work diligently to support your crossover research when you reach out to us by phone or online today. When you are ready to take your HR-V trim research to a new level, call or email the sales department.
