The two body styles offer a 180-horsepower, turbo 1.5-liter engine, and a CVT for the mid-level trims. The top trim for the Civic Sedan is outfitted with a 200-horsepower, 1.5-liter engine, and it connects to a rev-matching, six-speed manual transmission. The Civic Hatchback's top trim has a 315-horsepower, turbo 2.0-liter engine with a six-speed manual transmission.
Appearance
The 2023 Civic Sedan and Civic Hatchback are similarly styled on the nose. They both feature a long, athletic hood that cascades into a short, wide grille. The sleek headlights integrate with the grille and have a bent bar of LED light for accentuation. Both body styles also have a black bumper separated from the large air intake vents. The sedan body style has a crisp crease along the upper sides and an upward-arcing accent on the lower portion of the doors. The hatchback has comparable side definition, but it has a longer hood that trends directly into the liftgate.
Features
The base trims for both body styles are equipped with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a digital instrument panel, a 7-inch infotainment system screen, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, and other equipment. Mid-level trims for both options include heated front seats, a sunroof, an extra USB port, a blind-spot alert, front and rear parking sensors, a larger display screen, low-speed auto braking and others.
