The 2023 Honda CR-V displays bold improvements compared to its predecessor with the launch of the model's sixth generation. The trim lineup, however, remains the same with the base LX followed by the EX, Sport, EX-L, and Sport Touring. The Sport and Sport Touring trims are the only options with a hybrid powertrain for the 2023 model year. If you are debating between a gas-powered or hybrid powertrain, you understandably need to get to know the mid-level Sport Hybrid and the EX-L trims in full detail.
The 2023 Honda CR-V EX-L is loaded with a four-cylinder, turbocharged 1.5-liter engine. This 190-horsepower system has front-wheel or optional all-wheel drive and combines with a continuously variable transmission. The Sport Hybrid offers improved fuel economy and accelerates up to 60 miles per hour in eight seconds. Its four-cylinder hybrid engine produces 204 combined horsepower. Like the EX-L, the Sport Hybrid comes with your choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drivetrains.
The sporty CR-V has a fresh look from front to rear for 2023. Its nose has been completely redesigned with a wider grille, thin headlights, and an upper LED ribbon. The black bumper is thin and carries outward toward the small, athletic air vents. Across the bottom of the smooth side doors, a thick band of black molding adds personality. The EX-L trim has a power liftgate, a one-touch power moonroof with a tilt feature, heated side mirrors, and 17-inch wheels. The 2023 CR-V Sport Hybrid adds roof rails and dark trim.
The CR-V Sport Hybrid and CR-V EX-L stand next to each other in the 2023 trim list, but their features have notable differences. The Sport Hybrid gives you a leather-wrapped steering wheel and dual USB ports in the rear. The EX-L has an eight-speaker sound system, low-speed auto braking, leather seats, driver's memory functions, a wireless charging pad, and a larger touch display screen. These CR-V trims have heated front seats, a dual-zone climate management system, adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation, Apple CarPlay, lane keeping, Android Auto, and a push-button engine starter.
With differences between the CR-V Sport Hybrid and the CR-V EX-L from bumper to bumper, an in-person comparison and a test drive is the next step in your search for an amazing crossover. Please drop by our Honda of Murfreesboro showroom today for assistance from our team.
