2023 Honda CR-V vs 2023 Honda Pilot

Serving Murfreesboro, TN

At Honda of Murfreesboro, our inventory always carries many popular SUV models. The CR-V and the Pilot are some models our customers are often interested in. While they both have a long-standing appeal for SUV shoppers and are often compared to each other, these Honda models deliver a different ownership experience. What should you be aware of before you decide between the 2023 CR-V and the 2023 Pilot?

Performance

The Honda CR-V has four trim options, with two powertrains across the trims. A 190-horsepower, four-cylinder, 1.5-liter turbo gas system is standard and comes with a CVT and front-wheel drive. Optionally, you can add all-wheel drive to your CR-V. The CR-V's other powertrain is a 204-horsepower, hybrid 2.0-liter, four-cylinder system. In comparison, the 2023 Honda Pilot is available with only one engine. This is a 285-horsepower, 3.5-liter, V6 system with front-wheel drive and an auto 10-speed transmission. All-wheel drive is optional for many Pilot trims.

Appearance

The CR-V and the Pilot share some aspects of Honda's modern design language, such as their wide grille and connecting, slim headlights. The CR-V's headlights have an upper LED bar as an accent. This model also has thin, upright air vents placed over the black bumper. The CR-V displays its sporty side with pinstripe accent lines and thick molding across the side doors. The Pilot has a three-row cabin, so it has a longer body with a taller roof. While the Pilot's grille is similar to the CR-V's grille, this feature is more extensive. In addition, the headlights have a lower LED bar. The Pilot is distinguished by its larger air vents on the front, metal-accented bumper, and smooth sides.

Features

The 2023 CR-V and the 2023 Pilot offer a fantastic range of comparable features. These include adaptive cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, a heated steering wheel, forward collision mitigation, a Bose sound system, driver's memory settings, a hands-free liftgate, a wireless charging pad, smart device app connections, and a navigation system. If you opt for the Pilot, you may also have access to heated seats in the first and second rows, a wireless hotspot, second-row captain's chairs, parking sensors, power-folding side mirrors, a cabin intercom system, and automatic wipers.
