The 2025 Honda Civic is now available with one engine that is solely gas-powered. This is a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter system that puts out 150 horsepower. The Civic Hybrid mates this same engine with two electric motors. Its combined output is 200 horsepower. Its battery is recharged through regenerative braking. Both models have a CVT with front-wheel drive.

Appearance

From a stylistic standpoint, the 2025 Civic and the 2025 Civic Hybrid are identical. They both display the updated front-end design. Compared to the 2024 version, the 2025 model year has a smaller hexagonal grille above a larger, uniquely shaped fascia. The headlights carry into the grille, accentuating the grille's sharp corners.
